On Saturday 29th September, Haverhill Tennis Club held a charity day at the club, to raise money for the charity “Cayden’s Journey”, a charity set up to support the treatment of 10-year-old Cayden Tinker for a brain tumour, who until his diagnosis was going to coaching with Abi Cartwright-Thomas at the club. The club had a fantastic day in brilliant weather with good numbers turning up (. Everybody who attended were amazingly generous as were the incredible sponsors of the raffle prizes including Travis Perkins, RJ Tennis Coaching, Real Bodies Gym, The Plough Inn and Ian Terry (who donated a M&S Hamper worth £50) and they really can’t be thanked enough.

All in all, we managed to raise a fantastic £307! To donate to this worthy cause, this can be done directly to Cayden’s grandad, Graham Le Roy, via the club.
